Join one of the UK's leading subcontract engineering companies! We're currently looking for a skilled CNC Turner Setter Operator to join our growing production team in Leicester. If you have a passion for precision engineering and enjoy working with high-quality components to tight tolerances, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 23:00

  • Setting CNC turning machines (single and/or twin spindle) within target times
  • Operating machines and making necessary adjustments for optimal performance
  • Producing high-quality components in line with technical drawings
  • Carrying out in-process inspections using measuring equipment
  • Collaborating with Quality and Production teams
  • Supporting machining improvements and capability
  • Assisting with programming tasks where required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC turning (setting & operating)
  • Background in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
  • Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
  • Good understanding of machining processes and tooling (desirable)
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001
