School Caretaker with DBS!

Temporary Contract
37.5 hours per week
Proman UK is looking for 2 Caretakers to join the team at a School site. This is a hands-on role covering site security, maintenance, porterage, and general facilities support.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
- Late Shift: 10:00 - 18:00
- Occasional weekend work required
Key Duties:
- Opening and locking the school
- General building maintenance and minor repairs
- Fire alarm testing and routine site checks
- Site security patrols
- Porterage and room set-ups
- Managing contractors and visitor sign-ins
- Responding to day-to-day school requests
- Ensuring Health & Safety and COSHH compliance
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS required
- Previous caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be flexible with shift patterns
- Own safety boots/shoes required (PPE provided)
