PROMAN Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Lift Supervisor to join a busy construction project in Ipswich (IP12). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a long-term project, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations on site.
Location: Ipswich, IP12
Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour (UTR/CIS)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 5:00pm
The Role
As a Lift Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing all lifting activities on site, ensuring operations are carried out safely and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site
- Review lift plans and method statements before operations commence
- Ensure lifting activities are conducted safely and in accordance with site procedures and regulations
- Liaise with crane operators, slinger/signallers, and site management teams
- Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand the lifting plan
- Monitor lifting operations to maintain safety and efficiency at all times
- Maintain clear communication across the site team
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisor Ticket (essential)
- Previous experience working as a Lift Supervisor on construction sites
- Strong understanding of lifting regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to effectively manage and coordinate lifting teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full PPE
