Class 1 HGV Driver – Live Poultry Deliveries

Sunday – Thursday | Nights Out Required
Temp-to-Perm | Excellent Benefits
Pay Rates & Allowances:
- Day Rate (06:00–19:00): £14.31 per hour (£16.04 with holiday pay)
- Night Rate (19:00–06:00): £17.89 per hour (£20.05 with holiday pay)
- Moffett Allowance: £15 per day (once trained)
- Night Out Allowance: £28 per night
- Overtime: Double time for overtime shifts worked on Saturdays
PROMAN is recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for an exciting opportunity delivering live poultry for a leading food producer. This role offers consistent work, attractive pay rates, allowances, and a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The Role:
- Class 1 driving, delivering live chickens to farms and processing sites
- Afternoon to evening start times, Sunday to Thursday
- Nights out required (potentially all week)
- Full training and Moffett certification provided
- Responsibility for animal welfare and biosecurity standards
- Use of modern, well-maintained vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Willingness to complete Moffett training (paid allowance once qualified)
- Ability to handle livestock safely and compassionately
- Flexibility for nights out and evening work
