Monday–Friday | Ongoing Work | TRAMPING – 4 Nights Out
Proman UK, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV / LGV C+E Drivers for our client based in Doncaster.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will be responsible for bulk collections and deliveries of pharmaceutical goods across various sites nationwide. This includes both trailer swaps and live load/unload depending on customer requirements.
TRAMPING WORK DETAILS
- Night-out allowance: £38.60 per night
- Vehicles – 25 Plate DAF XG Standard cab Fridge included
- Driver sleeps in motorway services
- SNAP account provided for parking
- Any paid parking outside of SNAP can be claimed back via expenses
SHIFTS
- Average shift length 11–12 hours
- Mondays & Fridays are usually shorter to allow for travel
- Vehicles are serviced every 6 weeks (usually Monday/Friday) – drivers must drop off vehicles for maintenance
WORKING HOURS
- Start times between 04:00–08:00
- Average 10–12 hour shifts
- Regular, ongoing Monday–Friday work
PAYE RATES
£20.60 inc. holiday (£18.39 + holiday pay)
Immediate starts available following a successful driving assessment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class 1 / C+E licence
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD / DR / TT / IN endorsements)
- Valid Tacho & CPC cards
- Minimum 12 months continuous Class 1 experience (tachograph history required)
