We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a well-established precision engineering business in Hull. This is a great opportunity to secure a stable, long-term role within a busy and growing manufacturing environment.
The Role
A hands-on position supporting production and general factory operations, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating machinery and equipment in line with safety procedures
- Carrying out basic assembly tasks
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Handling and moving materials and finished goods
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Supporting other team members across the shop floor
- Following instructions and company procedures at all times
- Adhering to health & safety regulations and reporting hazards
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment (preferred)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Team player with a reliable and punctual approach
