Our well-established client is seeking a number of CNC Operators to join its existing team based in Glenrothes (KY6).

Shifts available:

  • Continental shift – 46.67 hours per week, 4 days on, 4 days off
  • Day Shift
  • Night Shift

Continental Salary (Category C) £45,011.64 per annum - £18.55 per hour

3 shift (Day, Night, Back) – 37 hours per week, 5 days per week

3 Shift Salary (Category C) £36,209.53 per annum - £18.82 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work to close tolerances, interpret engineering drawings and read CNC programmes
  • Flexible approach to working hours and duties
  • Knowledge of machines, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances and tooling
  • Machining Apprenticeship & relevant experience
  • Operating CNC Machinery – including lathes, machining centres and multi-axis machines
  • Production of precision measuring equipment and tooling
  • Quality checking and inspection of own work including first off and subsequent quality checks
  • Ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards throughout production
  • Observing and following the company's Health and Safety policy
  • Observing and following the company's Environmental policy
