Aerospace manufacturing business is recruiting skilled Sheet Metal Workers to support ongoing production and programme demand. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a precision-driven environment where quality is paramount, working on thin gauge aluminium components to exacting aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture and form sheet metal components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
  • Carry out rubber press operations and hand forming techniques
  • Profile and finish parts post-forming to required tolerances
  • Perform wheeling and shaping of thin gauge aluminium components (majority of workload)
  • Ensure all work is completed to high-quality aerospace standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with 5S and HSE requirements
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to meet delivery targets
Requirements
  • Previous experience within an aerospace sheet metal environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Rubber press operations
    • Hand forming
    • Wheeling
    • Profiling and finishing formed parts
  • Experience working with thin gauge aluminium
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and a right-first-time mindset
