Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their busy production team at their Victoria Production Engineering division.
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes to produce high-precision components to strict aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes (Mazatrol controls)
- Manufacturing complex components from engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances within an aerospace environment
- Conducting in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
- Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and quality standards
- Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to improve efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of Mazak machinery and Mazatrol programming
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Background in aerospace or similar regulated industry (desirable)
