We are seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client's team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for a hard-working, reliable individual who can offer flexibility and commitment. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, demonstrate a professional approach to their work, and have a genuine “can-do” attitude towards their responsibilities. While experience is essential, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Location: Exhall, Coventry, CV6
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15, Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced production setting
- Sewing a range of materials to required specifications
- Carrying out twin needle sewing, top sewing, flat sewing, and overlocking
- Ensuring consistently high-quality workmanship
- Completing regular sewing machine checks and basic maintenance
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Following health & safety and quality procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role
- Experience with twin needle machines, top sewing, flat sewing, and overlock machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and undertake training where required
- Good timekeeping and reliability
