Warehouse Operatives / FLT drivers required in Barnsley S75!
Shift availability: Day shift
Pay: £12.93 when starting as a Warehouse Operative, then £15.24 per hour once FLT work included.
Shifts: Rotating – 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm

The Role:
The role will be mainly picking (two person picks), goods in/out and packaging timber products ready for dispatch. When needed, you'll operate/work inside the warehouse operating MHE (Such as Counterbalance, LLOP and PPT) to support the production side of the business producing timber products. The day would consist of picking orders, dealing with stock, operating counterbalance trucks and working closely with the machine operators. Candidates would start their development onsite by working on LLOP trucks as part of a 2 person team, working within the picking department which then will give you an excellent understanding of the layout of the warehouse, and also a clear understanding of the products the site works with.
This role is warehouse heavy, with FLT work when needed, so you need to be ok with lifting due to the products working with on site (timber).
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately.
- Operate FLT safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload goods.
- Maintain stock control and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance) and experience.
- Previous warehouse experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.
