Assembly/Warehouse Operative – Temp to Perm Opportunity | Chesterfield (S41) We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Assembly Operative to join a growing production team based in Chesterfield. If you\’re practical, detail-focused, and take pride in precision, this role could be the perfect fit. Location: Chesterfield, S41 Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 3:00pm – 11pm Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour Contract Type: Temp to Perm Key Responsibilities: Assemble frames and door components Install hardware including hinges, locks, and glass Use hand and power tools to complete the assembly process Work with composite materials safely and efficiently Ensure all finished products meet strict quality standards and correct dimensions Identify and resolve defects during the assembly process Follow health and safety procedures at all times while operating machinery and handling materials Who We\’re Looking For: Good practical skills and mechanical awareness Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings Proactive approach to problem-solving Experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential ️ Full training provided and long-term opportunities available for the right candidate.
