Assembly Operative
Proman are currently seeking to recruit an assembly operative with previous assembly experience to assist our established client, based on Buckshaw Village, Chorley.
Salary:
Β£12.21p/h
Overtime paid at Β£15.27p/h

The Role:
The role requires an experienced assembly operative and the role will include the wiring and assembly of electrical switchgear and electrical panels associated with the energy saving industry.
At times there may also be opportunities to assist with repairs or installations both locally and throughout the UK.
Key Skills:
Cable crimping, wire cutting and preparation.
An ability to identify, handle & process sometimes heavy electrical components.
Marking out panels and cut/drill steelwork using power tools.
Keeping good care of company assets, tools, and plant etc
The Candidate:
Working mainly from the companiesβ head office in Chorley, the ideal candidate would need to work well individually and as part of a small expanding team. As well as; demonstrating diligence, reliability, and enthusiasm, with a good knowledge of wiring and Electromechanical assembly of switchgear and electrical control panels.
The ideal candidate for this role must have relevant experience of working in a similar role.
Candidates will also need:
To be highly motivated & reliable
The ability to maintain the highest level of workmanship and standards.
Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.
The ability to complete tasks safely and accurately to agreed timescales.
Ability to understand single line diagrams and wiring diagrams.
Good practical skills around hand tools and power tools
An understanding of safe practice & health and safety
Maintain a good housekeeping policy.
Good written and verbal communication skills to complete paperwork and understand tasks.
To work well independently and as part of a team
