Our client, one of the UK’s largest and longest-established manufacturers of window and door systems, is expanding—and now recruiting Fabricators / Manufacturing Operatives to join their growing team.
Location: Sutton in Ashfield – NG17 Hours: Monday to Friday NIGHTS, 17:00 – 01:00 Pay Rates:
Standard: £12.71 per hour
Overtime: £19.07 per hour
About the Role: You’ll be working in a fast-paced, modern manufacturing environment, assembling high-quality window and door systems. From reading instructions and using power tools to installing glass and fittings, you’ll play a vital role in delivering precision-engineered products.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and follow assembly instructions
Use hand and power tools to drill, cut, and assemble frames
Glaze frames and install fittings like handles and locks
Inspect and package finished products
Maintain production schedules and test product functionality
Identify and report damaged or missing items
Support process improvements and stock movement (manual or forklift)
Adhere to health & safety and quality control standards
What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and technical skills
Energetic, vigilant, and a quick learner
Team player with good communication skills
Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
Own transport (essential due to location)
Desirable Experience:
Previous work in manufacturing or warehouse environments
Manual handling experience
