Class 1 Tanker Driver – Permanent Role – Monday to Friday

Role: HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver (C+E)

Job Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Start Times: From 04:00 - 06:00

Salary & Benefits:

  • £38,688 annual salary
  • Overtime paid at £23.25 per hour after 48 hours per week

The Role – Class 1 Tanker Driver

We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers for a well-established transport and manufacturing operation. This role involves the collection and delivery of non-flammable liquid products to customer and production sites across the UK. No ADR licence is required, and full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing nationwide tanker deliveries and collections
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
  • Ensuring loads are transported safely and professionally
  • Completing all paperwork accurately and on time
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and health & safety compliance

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
  • Previous tanker experience preferred, but not essential
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
  • Flexible approach to working hours
