If the answers are yes, we are hiring for a High Voltage Technician / HV Engineer to join a specialist electrical engineering business supporting industrial and power sector clients across the UK.
You will be involved in a mix of installation, commissioning, testing, fault finding and maintenance activities on electrical distribution infrastructure, working alongside experienced HV professionals on safety-critical projects.
WHAT YOU NEED...
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship or relevant electrical engineering qualification
- Experience working on HV and LV electrical systems
- Testing, commissioning, maintenance or installation experience
- Fault finding and troubleshooting capability
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, permits to work and site compliance requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience within industrial, utilities, manufacturing, renewables, process or power generation environments

Day To Day
- Carry out HV and LV installation activities
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Commission electrical distribution equipment
- Perform testing and inspection activities
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
- Produce technical reports and service documentation
- Support project delivery teams on customer sites
- Ensure all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
- Communicate technical findings with customers and stakeholders
