Job Description Punch Press Operator CONTINENTAL DAY SHIFT (4 On / 4 Off)*** Winsearch is working with a well-established manufacturer in Ashton-under-Lyne to recruit an experienced Punch Press Operator for their production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC punch press experience who is looking for a stable, long-term role with a company that continues to invest in its people, equipment, and manufacturing capabilities. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC punching machinery, ensuring production is completed efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Setting and operating CNC punch press machines Working from engineering drawings and production paperwork Monitoring machine performance and output quality Carrying out routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting Recording production and quality information accurately Following company health, safety, and quality procedures Previous experience operating CNC punch press equipment A background in sheet metal or manufacturing environments Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Trumpf and/or Salvagnini machine experience CNC programming and machine set-up knowledge FLT or overhead crane licences Exposure to lean manufacturing techniques 13.69 - £14.25 per hour, depending on experience ~ Additional 20% shift premium ~ Continental shift pattern offering regular days off ~Two paid 45-minute breaks per shift ~ Ongoing training and development opportunities ~ Company pension scheme ~ Employee wellbeing support If you're an experienced Punch Press Operator looking to join a busy manufacturing business with a strong reputation and a supportive working environment, we'd like to hear from you.
