A well-established business within the logistics sector is looking to recruit a Logistics Customer Service Administrator to join its busy and fast-paced team. This role would suit someone with experience in logistics, freight, shipping, imports or customs, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with a strong customer service or administration background who can bring transferable skills, a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
You will be supporting the day-to-day running of operations, helping to ensure customers receive a high level of service while assisting with administration, bookings, coordination and internal system updates.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting customers with day-to-day queries and service updates
- Handling administration linked to logistics and operational activity
- Processing bookings and updating internal systems accurately
- Liaising with customers, colleagues and internal departments
- Assisting with coordination of deliveries and shipments
- Supporting the wider team with operational and customer service tasks
- Helping ensure all work is completed accurately and within deadlines
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in customer service, administration or office support
- Experience within logistics, freight, shipping, imports or customs would be ideal, but is not essential
