Winsearch is proud to partner with an established specialist contractor looking to appoint an experienced Construction Supervisor to support the delivery of major construction projects.
Reporting to the Construction Package Manager, you'll supervise daily activity across assigned work packages, coordinating subcontractors, labour, materials and site access to ensure works are delivered safely, correctly and on programme.
The Role
You'll support the delivery of packages including windows, external doors, building services, interiors and associated construction works.
Working closely with the Package Manager, specialist subcontractors and wider project team, you'll ensure everyone understands the programme, approved drawings, quality requirements and safe systems of work.
You'll monitor progress, productivity and workmanship, maintain accurate records and escalate risks before they affect delivery.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising the daily delivery of assigned construction packages
- Coordinating subcontractors, operatives and site activities
- Leading daily briefings and communicating work priorities
- Monitoring labour levels, productivity and installation progress
- Supporting short-term planning and lookahead programmes
- Coordinating labour, plant, materials, access and storage
- Identifying programme delays and supporting recovery actions
- Managing interfaces between different trades and packages
- Reviewing RAMS and ensuring approved methods are followed
- Carrying out site inspections and compliance xgikmsk checks
- Supporting toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Ensuring works meet approved drawings and specifications
- Implementing Inspection and Test Plans
- Managing quality inspections, snagging and defects
- Maintaining site diaries, progress records and photographs
- Coordinating inspections, sign-offs and handover activity
