Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy, business advisory, and financial planning firm with offices in Blackburn and Bury. The firm has built a strong reputation across the North West for delivering high-quality advice and exceptional client service to businesses and individuals. The firm provides a range of integrated services, including audit and accounting, corporate finance, cloud accounting, tax, payroll, and financial planning, allowing specialists across the firm to work collaboratively and provide seamless, joined-up advice to clients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a developing accounting professional to join the Audit, Accounting & Advisory team. This role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio, combining statutory audit work with accounts preparation and advisory projects. Approximately 75% of your time will be spent on audit assignments, including statutory audits, charity independent examinations, and Solicitors' Accounts Rules engagements. The remaining time will involve year-end accounts preparation and client advisory work. Work closely with senior team members while gaining increasing responsibility as your experience grows. Work will take place at client premises across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, in the office, and occasionally from home under the firm's flexible working policy.
What we’re looking for:
- Part-qualified ACA / ACCA, or AAT qualified.
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with a client-focused mindset.
- Motivated and keen to develop a career in audit and accountancy.
