We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner for a Children's Home in Birmingham. As a Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children/young people in your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Senior Childcare Practitioner Vacancy Details:

  • Salary = from £13.00-£15.00
  • Contract type = Permanent
  • Job Type = Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children underpinned by therapeutic parenting principles
  • Support young people through their daily routines by accompanying, where necessary, to and from activities, school, learning environments, appointments etc.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean home environment
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Participate in supervision, personal development plans and attend mandatory training
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones
  • Ensure all reports and documentation are up to date in accordance to company policies and procedures

Experience:

  • Working towards or completed Level 4 Diploma in Children's and Young People workforce
  • 2 years experience working with Children in a residential setting
  • Valid driver's license (if driving is required)
