The role
We’re looking for Accountant Subject Matter Experts to join our Expert Network to help train and evaluate cutting‑edge AI models using professional accounting insight. If you have an accounting background, we’ll send you a quick 10‑ to 15‑minute test to assess your skills and suitability for AI tasks. If successful, you’ll be invited to join Prolific’s Accounting Projects as a participant, where you’ll get paid to train and evaluate powerful AI models. Researchers looking for your skills tend to pay up to $60 per hour depending on skills and experience level. You must be prepared to complete paid tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter.
What you’ll bring
- Accounting Background: you have an accounting degree, professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA etc.), or relevant experience as an accountant.
- Attention to Detail: the ability to review complex documentation and identify key nuances or inaccuracies.
- Critical Thinking: an "accounting mind" capable of providing logical, fact‑based reasoning to support your answers.
