Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lifeguard, located at DMRC Stanford Hall Loughborough.
Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers by monitoring the pool area.
Daily tasks include supervising swimmers, enforcing safety rules, preventing accidents, performing rescues when necessary, and providing emergency care.
Additional duties involve maintaining cleanliness and order around the pool and educating visitors on safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
- CPR, First Aid, and NPLQ Lifeguard certification
- Excellent observation skills and attentiveness
- Ability to remain calm and act swiftly in emergencies
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Experience in lifeguarding or a related field is a plus
