About the role

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the awareness building, traffic driving and lead generation activity via our digital channels; including website, online advertising and paid social media.

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the wider marketing team to plan and execute SEO, PPC and paid social campaigns as part of an integrated, multi-channel approach.

Monitoring and optimising their success and reporting back results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Marketing to deliver the marketing KPI’s, driving business growth and supporting the sales team with high-quality
  • Monitor, manage and review the performance of our Digital Marketing Agency, ensuring lead targets are met, content and assets are tested continuously, and campaign budgets are utilised effectively.
  • Manage our Website Development Agency, track website performance and implement website improvements, while executing day-to-day updates and managing the CMS.

Ensure website is optimised for changing search landscape, specifically AI.

  • Regularly analyse website performance and user behaviour using advanced analytics tools to inform marketing decisions, website enhancements and web statistics Manage conversion rate optimisation to ensure website traffic is converting to leads via free trials, savings calculator completions or general website enquiries.
  • Take ownership of SEO and SEM strategies to support the growth in organic traffic and improve of our website and user experience.
  • Conduct keyword research and market trend analysis to establish growth
  • Lead the creative development of digital campaign content across paid, owned and partner touchpoints.

Using existing messaging framework and brand guide, create a consistent narrative across brand campaigns and product campaigns, including PPC, SEO and paid

  • Design our marketing collateral using creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts and designs, including advertising, emails, and social media Create engaging digital content that increases customer engagement and enhances the organisation’s online brand presence.

Acquire and manage all digital media assets.

  • Develop and manage our social media strategy with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.

Create captivating multimedia content that aligns with the overall digital marketing strategy.

Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts.

  • Plan, research and create engaging and accurate blog and thought-leadership content, aligned to the overall marketing strategy.
  • This content will be designed to deliver high-quality leads and conversion to sales
  • Compile detailed monthly reports on website and social media performance, PPC, SEO, and Paid Social campaigns, to shape future campaigns and drive optimal ROI and progress against set KPIs.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of current and upcoming digital media trends
  • Understanding of how to drive sales and awareness via SEO/SEM, paid search, social and domain ranking
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SE Ranking and proficiency in website content management systems
  • Demonstratable experience in SEO, PPC and paid social campaigns
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Results orientated, with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Effective project management skills and experience
  • Experience of managing external marketing agencies and/or consultants
  • Excellent written communication skills to produce high-quality content
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small, busy team and equally on your initiative
