OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Sales / Account Manager to drive adoption of our innovative cardiac surgery portfolio across the UK. This individual will be responsible for building trusted relationships with cardiac surgeons, theatre teams, perfusionists, and procurement stakeholders while delivering sustained sales growth. The role requires a blend of strong clinical knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and proven ability in complex medical device sales and account management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the UK cardiac surgery portfolio.
- Develop and implement territory sales plans with focus on top cardiac surgery centres.
- Establish and maintain relationships with cardiac surgeons, theatre nurses, perfusionists, and procurement teams.
- Provide clinical case support in operating theatres, ensuring optimal use of products.
- Conduct product demonstrations, educational sessions, and workshops to train clinical teams.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with NHS supply chain and private hospital procurement.
- Identify, build, and develop clinical champions and reference sites.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategy.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, account plans, and sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and clinical support teams to enhance customer experience.
