An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a fast-growing and innovative business operating within the MedTech sector. This organisation is transforming healthcare through cutting-edge technology and is looking for a proactive finance professional to support its growing finance function.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants exposure across transactional finance and month-end accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing and managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
  • Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with cash flow monitoring
  • Supporting month-end close processes and preparation of management accounts
  • Assisting with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving invoice queries
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes where required
  • Assisting with process improvements and finance system efficiencies
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/customers
About You
  • Previous experience within a finance or accounting role
  • Strong exposure to AP and AR processes
  • Experience assisting with management accounts preparation
  • Studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
