As an Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in building and supporting a high-performing finance function within a scaling SaaS environment. This is a business-facing role, giving you exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to influence decision-making. You’ll gain hands-on experience across revenue, reporting, and operational finance, ideal for someone looking to step into a future Management Accountant position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end invoicing process aligned to customer contracts
  • Manage debtor processes, including aged debt reporting and customer communication
  • Assist with month-end close, journals, and management accounts preparation
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Support revenue recognition, including deferred revenue and accruals (SaaS model)
  • Oversee customer onboarding from a finance perspective (billing setup, validation, account creation)
  • Handle supplier invoices, expenses, and payment runs
  • Act as a key point of contact for finance queries across the business
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role
  • Actively studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel skills (comfortable with data handling and reporting)
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based environment is a plus
  • Exposure to Business Central is advantageous
