Position: Ultrasound Applications Specialist

Location: Remote – UK and frequent travel to Europe (could be up to 50%)

Role Overview:

The Ultrasound Applications Specialist will serve as the bridge between the advanced ultrasound systems and the healthcare professionals who utilize them. This role involves providing expert customer support, conducting product demonstrations, gathering and analysing customer feedback, and engaging in market research. This person will also have a big responsibility to promote the products, participating in tender submissions, and building strong relationships with reference hospitals and Key Opinion Leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support and Training: Provide on-site and remote support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the effective use of the ultrasound systems.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct live demonstrations of ultrasound systems for potential clients, highlighting the unique features and benefits.
  • Customer Feedback and Product Improvement: Gathering and analyse feedback from customers regarding their experience with our ultrasound systems.
  • Market Research and Product Evaluation – Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  • Product Promotion and Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, showcasing our ultrasound products to a broad audience (all across the world!!!!)
  • Prepare and deliver presentations of the products to potential clients, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders.
  • Tender Submissions: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to prepare and submit tenders for ultrasound products.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ultrasound applications, clinical support, or a related role.

• Strong understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in various medical fields.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders.

• Proven ability to conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.

• Experience in market research, product evaluation, and competitive analysis.

• Ability to travel in UK and Europe as needed for customer support, demonstrations, and events.

Open to people directly from Hospitals as well as commercial.
