Job Title: Area Sales Manager – UK&I
Area: UK&I – South UK Based.
Position Overview
You will be responsible for selling the surgical robotic systems to hospitals across the UK. This role requires expertise in surgical and capital sales experience, strong solution-selling skills, and the ability to build advocacy teams within hospitals. You will provide detailed information to buying teams throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sales process for surgical systems in hospitals.
- Build clinical and administrative support through presentations and events.
- Develop support from surgeons and hospital administrators.
- Identify key institutions, drive market awareness, and achieve sales targets.
- Transition initial sales to the clinical sales team to increase procedural volume.
- Collaborate with the Director to develop the UK&I
- Establish contact with CEOs and senior hospital administrators.
- Develop expert knowledge of primary OR procedures and create business cases for system purchases.
- Resolve contractual issues and coordinate system installations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or capital sales.
- Knowledge of the operating room environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in capital medical equipment sales.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Fluent in English
Preferred:
- Sales management experience.
- Experience introducing new technologies to the market.
