We’re looking for a Remote Operations Director (Virtual COO) to run process and accountability across our manufacturing, dispatch, and planning operations. You’ll manage through live data and dashboards, not meetings — ensuring production, logistics, and profit performance are tracked and corrected daily. This role suits a commercially focused operator who understands manufacturing flow, numbers, and people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily scrums, weekly sprints, and monthly performance reviews.
- Oversee dashboards tracking output, materials, deliveries, and gross margin.
- Manage corrective actions from customer service and logistics until closed.
- Align production and sales forecasts (12-month rolling plan).
- Ensure all data in Monday.com, DEAR, HubSpot, and Xero is clean and aligned.
- Report weekly to the CEO with profit performance and risk forecast.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as an Operations Director / Head of Operations / Factory Manager.
- Strong command of data-driven management (Power BI / Monday.com / ERP).
- Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, or dispatch operations.
- Natural authority — able to enforce accountability across teams.
- Commercial focus: you care about profit, not paperwork.
We’ll Know You’re Right If…
- You’ve run multi-site or remote manufacturing operations.
- You enjoy leading through KPIs and dashboards.
- You think in terms of systems and numbers, not opinions.
- You can see problems days before they happen.
Compensation
- Remote, flexible hours
- 35–45 EUR/hour (or equivalent contract rate)
- Performance-based bonus potential linked to profit accuracy and improvement.
To Apply
Answer these short questions:
- What’s the hardest operational problem you’ve solved remotely?
- How do you use data to hold people accountable?
- Describe how you’d ensure daily scrums actually happen and are useful.
