We're looking for a reliable, practical person to join our team and develop into a working site supervisor. You'll work and learn alongside an experienced site supervisor while getting involved in a wide range of site work.
The role includes:
- Helping organise work, supervise trades and maintain safe working practices, including inductions, toolbox talks and RAMS
- Preparing and keeping sites clean, tidy and organised
- Helping with materials, deliveries, general labouring and hands-on work
- Developing skills in taping and jointing, decorating and finishing
- Working with subcontractors, solving site problems and checking the quality of completed work
- Reporting and working alongside the office to ensure a smooth project delivery.
You'll need some construction experience, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. You should be able to work as part of a team, use your initiative and take pride in your work. The role requires travel and flexibility, including occasional evenings, weekends and stays away from home.
A CSCS card is an advantage. SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and other relevant qualifications would also be advantageous.
