Trainee Site Supervisor in Reading

Were looking for a reliable, practical person to join our team and develop into a working site supervisor. Youll work and learn alongside an experienced site supervisor while getting involved in a wide range of site work.
The role includes:
Helping organise work, supervise trades and maintain safe working practices, including inductions, toolbox talks and RAMS
Preparing and keeping sites clean, tidy and organised
Helping with materials, deliveries, general labouring and hands-on work
Developing skills in taping and jointing, decorating and finishing
Working with subcontractors, solving site problems and checking the quality of completed work
Reporting and working alongside the office to ensure a smooth project delivery.
Youll need some construction experience, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. You should be able to work as part of a team, use your initiative and take pride in your work. The role requires travel and flexibility, including occasional evenings, weekends and stays away from home.
A CSCS card is an advantage. SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and other relevant qualifications would also be advantageous.
