Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Lead to help us accelerate growth, expand our client base, and position Projects Expert as a market leader in Oracle PPM advisory and SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and contributing to the go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive new client acquisition in the UK and Europe.
- Identify and engage prospective clients in sectors where Oracle ERP Cloud is widely used (e.g. life sciences, banking, public sector).
- Articulate Projects Expert’s value proposition, including SaaS solutions and consulting services through compelling proposals, demos, and client presentations.
- Leverage existing relationships within the Oracle sales and partner ecosystem to open new opportunities and accelerate deal cycles.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Work closely with the product, delivery, and marketing teams to align offerings with client needs.
- Maintain and grow relationships with Oracle sales and implementation partners.
- Track market trends, client feedback, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and pipeline KPIs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, consulting, or business development, ideally in the ERP, SaaS, or professional services sectors.
- Existing network within the Oracle Cloud or Oracle partner ecosystem (sales, alliances, or consulting channels).
- Prior experience engaging with Oracle account teams or positioning complementary solutions to Oracle ERP, PPM, or Fusion Cloud customers.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud (especially Oracle PPM Cloud) or similar enterprise software platforms is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of developing leads, closing enterprise deals, and building client relationships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
