The role involves being the first dedicated People Lead at Projects by IF, shaping how to attract, develop, and retain talent as the company grows. This strategic role requires close collaboration with the leadership team to build people systems and codify the culture that sustains growth while preserving what makes IF distinctive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment process and strategy: Develop hiring strategies, ensure alignment with values, and own the candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding.
- Learning, development and progression: Create clear progression frameworks, design learning and development approaches, and build meaningful appraisal and feedback systems.
- Culture and team health: Act as an ambassador for company values, monitor team wellbeing, and shape policies that support a healthy working environment.
- Strategic people planning: Work with leadership to forecast hiring needs, contribute to business planning, and manage people data.
About you:
Experience: You will have led people strategy in a services environment, managed recruitment processes end-to-end, and worked at a senior level with leadership teams on organisational challenges.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking, excellent judgement, clear communication, and systems thinking.

Your location: IF is based in London, and we’re looking for someone within commutable distance. We are largely a remote-first team.
