What will you be doing?
As our UK Capital Markets Consulting Lead, you'll play a key role in helping clients navigate significant change while supporting the continued growth of our Capital Markets practice.
- Shape Projective Group’s UK Capital Markets proposition by helping define our go-to-market strategy, identifying growth opportunities and strengthening client relationships across Capital Markets, Financial Market Infrastructure and Post-Trade.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the UK and EMEA, acting as a strategic adviser on complex Capital Markets and Post-Trade challenges spanning equities, fixed income, settlement, clearing, collateral and custody.
- Lead complex transformation programmes from strategy through to implementation, taking ownership of governance, budgets, roadmaps and stakeholder engagement across multiple regions.
- Advise clients on Post-Trade outsourcing strategies, operating models and regulatory requirements, including FCA, PRA, CSDR and EMIR, while helping redesign settlement workflows across operations, technology and risk.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including Broadridge, custodians and clearing houses, supporting vendor selection, contract negotiation and oversight of service levels, implementation milestones and regulatory compliance.
- Guide organisations through business readiness and successful transition into BAU, while supporting the continued development of consultants across our Capital Markets practice.
Is this you?
You're an experienced consulting leader with deep Capital Markets and Post-Trade expertise, with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for helping clients solve complex challenges.
You thrive on advising senior clients, leading transformation and developing people within a collaborative consultancy environment.
- Significant experience leading Capital Markets consulting or transformation programmes, ideally gained within a management consultancy or specialist financial services consultancy.
- Deep understanding of Capital Markets and Post-Trade processes, including settlements, clearing, collateral, custody and associated operating models.
- Experience working with, or leading transformation involving, platforms such as Broadridge (Impact, BPS, Gloss), Smart Stream or comparable Capital Markets technologies.
- Strong understanding of outsourcing models and the regulatory landscape, including FCA, PRA, CSDR and EMIR.
- A proven track record of delivering strategic consulting and advisory services to senior stakeholders across complex Capital Markets transformation programmes.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to build trusted client relationships, influence senior stakeholders and identify opportunities to expand our Capital Markets practice.
- A pragmatic, analytical and collaborative approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Work with leading financial institutions on major Capital Markets and Post-Trade transformation programmes across the UK and Europe.
- Shape the future of our Capital Markets practice, helping influence strategy, develop new client opportunities and build long-term consulting capability.
