Do you use data to challenge thinking, shape solutions, and deliver real outcomes for clients? We’re hiring multiple Data Consultants across a range of experience levels. Whether you’re already delivering confidently on client engagements or stepping into a more senior role, we’re interested in people who combine financial services knowledge, solid stakeholder skills, and a practical approach to data.

This role is about more than analysis. It’s about working at the intersection of business and technology, helping clients define problems, shape solutions, and deliver meaningful change across transformation, regulatory, and data‑led initiatives. At Projective Group, we partner with financial services organisations to solve complex challenges across data, transformation, risk, and payments.

As we continue to grow our Data practice, we’re looking for consultants who can span the spectrum from Data Management through using data as a tool to steer better decisions and outcomes. Bring Your Expertise to Life at Projective Group; imagine a day where you:

  • Work with clients to understand complex business challenges.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements, guiding technical teams while keeping solutions grounded in real‑world context.
  • Take ownership of workstreams across data initiatives, from requirements through to delivery support.
  • Use tools such as SQL or Python to explore data, validate outputs, and visualise and create compelling outputs to support both business and technical discussions.
  • Challenge assumptions, identify improvements, and help design pragmatic, fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
  • Support clients exploring AI adoption, identifying realistic use cases and how these align to their data landscape.
  • Build robust relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and in‑person consulting environment.

Is this you?

  • Experience within a financial services consultancy, with a track record of delivering on client engagements.
  • Comfortable operating between business and technology, engaging stakeholders while working closely with technical teams.
  • Solid experience gathering and structuring requirements, with the flexibility to support both business analysis and project delivery.
  • Understanding of domains such as banking, capital markets, or insurance, and how data supports decision‑making.
  • Practical experience with SQL, Python, or low‑code tools, using them to support delivery rather than as a pure technical focus.
  • Able to manage priorities, take ownership, and adapt across different clients and engagements.
  • Naturally inquisitive, confident in asking questions and challenging thinking to add value.
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience, with project management exposure or certifications as a plus.

A collaborative environment with no unnecessary organisational structure. The opportunity to work across a range of financial services clients and transformation programmes, including regulatory change, data modernisation, and operational improvement initiatives. Early exposure to meaningful client work, with the independence to take ownership and contribute from day one. A generous training budget, supporting both technical and consulting development. A culture focused on pragmatism, collaboration, and delivering meaningful impact. Competitive salary, bonus structure, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and pension. A London office in the heart of the city, designed to support collaboration and connection.

At Projective Group, we celebrate diversity and inclusion. We welcome all candidates across all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.
