Location: Yorkshire wide, based from our office in Riccall, North Yorkshire (YO19 6PW)
Position Type: Full-time, 6-month contract initially with potential to extend
Salary: Β£27,500 β Β£33,000 FTE per annum dependant on experience and qualifications
Overview: Project: WILD C.I.C. is seeking an experienced team member to help us achieve our mission: helping people build real, lasting connections with the nature on their doorstep, inspiring wonder, fostering wellbeing, and providing the skills and knowledge to empower individuals and communities to actively care for the natural world. The successful candidate will drive the design, quality assurance, and delivery of our inspiring nature-based programmes which to date have reached over 14,000 people across Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Design: Take full ownership of planning engaging environmental education activities tailored to diverse ages and abilities.
- Documentation & Safety: Ensure rigorous risk assessments and session plans are completed and submitted in advance.
- Team Leadership: Train and manage Environmental Education Facilitators, reviewing and implementing feedback to ensure high quality sessions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, animal care, and coordination team members to ensure our programmes meet their goals.
Requirements:
- Education/teaching qualification to at least Level 3, with a proven background in training or education.
- Solid understanding of ecological principles and risk management.
- Highly organised individual.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
