Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Mechanical Project Manager to deliver Mechanical and Fit-Out projects across commercial and industrial environments in Blantyre and surrounding areas. Projects will range in value from approximately £50k to £1.5 million, and you will be responsible for managing projects from initial handover through to completion, commissioning, and final client sign-off. This role is suited to a candidate with a strong background in HVAC and commercial fit-out projects, who can take full ownership of project delivery, commercial performance, and client relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Mechanical and Fit-Out projects from start to finish (£50k – £1.5m).
  • Take full commercial responsibility for profit and loss of installation contracts.
  • Support pre-construction and design teams with tenders and estimates.
  • Oversee delivery, commissioning, and handover procedures in line with agreed quality plans.
  • Resolve contractual and technical issues as they arise.
  • Manage external contractors and site teams.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare Health & Safety documentation and submit to the Compliance Team for approval.
  • Compile and submit project documentation, including Operation & Maintenance manuals.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience delivering HVAC projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong background in commercial fit-out projects.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Valid CSCS Card – Essential.
  • Relevant Health & Safety training.
  • Management experience within HVAC / Building Services installations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical Building Services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
