COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is a leading facilities management and engineering services provider with decades of experience supporting major retail, residential and commercial markets. They provide a wide range of services including maintenance and engineering, technical support, procurement, cleaning and ancillary services. They work with some of the UK’s largest retailers and commercial clients, delivering long term facilities management solutions. They now have an excellent opportunity for a FGAS Technician to join their team in the Hampshire area. JOB PURPOSE To provide planned and reactive HVAC and Commercial Gas maintenance across a multi-site environment, ensuring all equipment is maintained safely, efficiently and to the required standards. The role will involve completing PPM, responding to breakdowns and Helpdesk calls, carrying out repairs and maintaining a wide range of HVAC and gas fired equipment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Complete scheduled PPM and all required paperwork accurately. Respond promptly to Helpdesk service calls and alarms. Diagnose and repair faults within agreed response times. Service and maintain HVAC equipment including AHUs, gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pumps, split AC, boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers and water chillers. Identify non repairable faults and recommend suitable replacement works. Ensure all work is completed in line with Health, Safety and Environmental policies. Work professionally across multiple sites and maintain excellent customer service. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE F Gas / City & Guilds 2079 – Essential. Unvented Water Heaters / G3 – Essential. 17th or 18th Edition – Desirable. Experience in HVAC / Gas maintenance within a multi site environment. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel daily. Professional, flexible and customer focused approach. Strong fault finding and hands on maintenance skills. SALARY & BENEFITS £42k salary Commercial Gas Qualification (COCN1) 12 – 15 month course = Approx £3k Salary rises to £47k on completion of COCN1 On call: £180 per week, 1 week in 4. 45 hours per week. 33 days holiday.
