Job Responsibilities
- Service and maintain commercial heating systems and boilers.
- Install, diagnose, and repair heating systems and domestic hot and cold water systems.
- Install heating plant, domestic water plant, and water heaters.
- Carry out pipework installation for water, gas, air, and associated systems.
- Operate press-fit tools.
- Complete reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with other trades on-site.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building standards.
- Complete job reports and associated documentation accurately.
- Prepare material lists and support apprentices when required.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide emergency support.
- Undertake additional duties in line with business requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing.
- Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1A.
- LPG qualification (desirable).
- OFTEC 101, 105E & 600A (desirable).
- Unvented Hot Water Storage certification.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 – £43,000 basic salary.
