Our client are one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK and provide a full range of Mechanical and Electrical services for commercial and industrial clients in the private and public sectors. With their comprehensive in-house expertise, they can offer consultation and detailed design through to installation, commissioning and ongoing service and maintenance of M&E products and services.
Due to continued growth our client are on the lookout for an Electrician with the FGAS qualification to cover the East Midlands.
JOB PURPOSE
- Complete planned maintenance to a high standard to ensure the equipment installed continues to operate when required, minimises breakdown, down-time, is safe to operate and that any safety critical items are fully operational.
- You will need to have up to date clear and concise maintenance records.
- Complete emergency reactive calls that are logged, to a high standard in order to achieve our clients 95% first time fix aspirations.
- Complete site surveys as and when requested by the client.
- Act as a company representative to ensure beliefs and standards are adhered to.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collection and fitting of parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer / Operations Manager.
- Diagnosing and fixing HVAC/M&E equipment breakdowns.
- Planned HVAC/M&E PPM’s.
- Carrying out HVAC/M&E calls as allocated by Service Control.
- Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way.
- Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way.
- Working safely in line with health and safety procedures.
- Be part of a standby rota as requested to ensure that the company can provide adequate emergency cover to our Retail clients at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations.
- FGAS Cat 1.
- Experience of working on Air Conditioning units.
- Excellent Fault-Finding and Repair skills.
- Excellent communications skills.
- A solid understanding of administration procedures.
- Excellent attitude and approach to work.
- Highly self-reliant, motivated and enthusiastic.
- Approachable, open and able to work as part of a team.
- Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail.

- £42,500 + Paid Door to Door + Overtime (OTE £50k).
