Our client is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their growing BEMS/BMS team. The role will involve commissioning, testing and fault-finding BEMS/BMS systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

This opportunity is with a well-established, nationwide facilities and building maintenance business, providing 24/7, 365-day support to commercial clients across the UK, and provides a comprehensive range of building services, including heating, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC and air conditioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission and test BEMS/BMS systems from installation through to handover.
  • Carry out point-to-point, I/O and functional testing.
  • Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, pumps and VAV systems.
  • Configure and fault-find BMS controllers and field devices.
  • Work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms.
  • Work with BACnet, Modbus and other BMS communication protocols.
  • Review drawings, points lists and control strategies.
  • Complete commissioning documentation and client handovers.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' BMS commissioning experience.
  • Strong HVAC and controls knowledge.
  • Experience with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and/or Cylon.
  • Good understanding of BMS networking and communications.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to read BMS schematics and control drawings.
  • Good client-facing and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Package

  • Salary: £55,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
