Job summary:
Project Solver is currently looking for someone like you to work as a PAT Tester to join our expanding team of highly trained and highly professional members. No experience required; full training will be provided.
Portable Appliance Tester – Job requirements:
- Carry out visual inspections of appliances.
- Carry out electrical testing to ensure that each item is safe to use.
- Carry out fuse changes, plug replacements and re-terminations where necessary.
- Microwave Emission Testing.
- Complete and submit paperwork as agreed.
- Manage appliance testing in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- You will be paid at a test rate per appliance.
- Working away is required with this role, some out of hours which would be nights and the occasional weekend.
Portable Appliance Tester – Requirements:
- Desirable City & Guilds 2377 (but in-house training will be provided if necessary).
- Basic electrical knowledge an advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Current Driving Licence and must have own transport.
- A professional approach.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
