The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Our client, a global finance organisation and well-known brand is seeking a driven and results orientated individual to join their Warehouse Operations Team based in Canning Town. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment that provides excellent service to both internal and external customers. This is a 12-month maternity cover with an immediate start date.

In this position, you will be responsible for global goods-in processing, inventory and warehouse management, and shipping. The main tasks will include:

  • Booking stock accurately in SAP
  • Maintaining stock accuracy through cycle counts
  • Managing outbound deliveries via a Transport Management System

You will also have to collaborate across departments to ensure high service levels for internal and external customers while working closely with Supply Chain functions.

The successful candidate will be a high energy professional with strong interpersonal skills who has demonstrated success within the Supply chain space in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing goods-in, inventory and warehouse management and shipping globally
  • Accurately booking items into stock using SAP
  • Maintaining stock accuracy through regular cycle counts
  • Picking stock and processing outbound deliveries through a Transport Management System
  • Collaborating with various departments within the company and providing high level of service to both internal and external customers
  • Working closely with various functions within the Supply Chain organization including: Warehouse areas (Warehouse Operations, Production, Quality and Print), Trade Compliance and Logistics, and the various functions across the Enterprise

Requirements:

Must have:

  • The ability to work to a high-quality standard with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize workload and be a self-starter
  • Experience working in an environment of constant change and be able to learn new processes and technologies quickly
  • Experience in dealing with international shipments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success in continual process improvements
  • Inventory database and stock control experience
  • Solid experience of managing inventory and cycle counts
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Microsoft programs
  • A one team approach and to be flexible in your day-to-day role with a can-do attitude

Good to have:

  • Experience of forklift handling equipment and other MHE (Material handling equipment) preferred but full training will be available
  • Previous warehouse experience in a blue-chip/FMCG environment
  • Progression in previous roles and experience in leading people
  • Experience driving sustainability improvements
  • Experience using SAP in particular modules SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management), QM (Quality Management), BW (Business Warehouse)
  • Experience running operational data and use data visualization tools
  • Lean six sigma or other continuous improvement methods
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience
