Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires a CyberArk Architect to be based at their client's office in Reading, UK. This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Reading office 3 days per week. This is a 6+ month temporary contract to start ASAP. Day rate: Competitive Market rate.
Our client is looking for a CyberArk Architect who will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise-wide Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Security solutions. This role provides technical leadership for CyberArk architecture, ensuring secure management of privileged identities, credentials, secrets, and access across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The CyberArk Architect partners with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and compliant identity security capabilities that mitigate cyber risk and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CyberArk PAM solutions, including Privileged Access Manager, Privilege Cloud, Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM), and Secrets Management capabilities.
- Define and govern privileged access architecture standards, ensuring alignment with security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Lead CyberArk onboarding activities for Servers, databases, applications, cloud platforms, and privileged accounts across enterprise environments.
- Develop and maintain CyberArk integrations with identity providers, SIEM platforms, ITSM tools, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for PAM projects, upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to implement least-privilege access controls and secure credential management practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and security design evaluations to identify and mitigate privileged access risks.
- Drive automation of privileged access workflows, account onboarding, credential rotation, and compliance reporting.
- Monitor CyberArk platform health, performance, and service availability, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and scalability.
- Produce architecture documentation, technical standards, solution designs, and executive-level reports for stakeholders and leadership teams.
Key Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Cyber Security, with at least 4 years focused on Privileged Access Management and CyberArk technologies.
- Proven experience designing and implementing CyberArk PAM solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in CyberArk components, including Digital Vault, CPM, PVWA, PSM, PTA, EPM, Conjur, and Secrets Management solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, including privileged access security controls.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong Integration knowledge of Windows, Linux, databases, networking, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex enterprise security projects.
- Experience implementing machine identity and secrets management solutions.
- Familiarity with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools such as SailPoint or Saviynt.
- Experience supporting Zero Trust and enterprise identity transformation programs.
