Our client, a leader in providing comprehensive business intelligence, news, and legal analysis, is seeking a proactive Sales Associate to join their team based in London. This is a temporary contract for 6 months (likely to be extended up to 1 year) with an immediate start date. For the right candidate, there might be opportunities to apply for a permanent position within the company.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving business growth by securing leads into viable prospects for Relationship Partners to present and sell the Client’s premier information services throughout the EMEA region. You will develop a deep understanding of Client’s product offerings to effectively address prospect inquiries and independently research, identify, and contact potential clients, creating your own call lists while collaborating with Relationship Partners as needed.
Applicants should have extremely good communication skills and should have the ability to multi-task, attention to detail and maintain focus and motivation while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate a minimum of 5 high-quality appointments per week with senior executives at multinational companies, law firms, and accountancy firms.
- Develop a deep understanding of Client’s product offerings to effectively respond to prospect inquiries.
- Independently research, identify, and contact potential clients, creating your own call lists, and working collaboratively with Relationship Partners when needed.
- Attend at least four sales presentations per month to support the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and manage scheduling using CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Proven track record in sales, with experience in both telephone and face-to-face selling.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in any European languages is highly desirable.
- Confident and persuasive telephone manner, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a call list and appointment schedule efficiently.
- Analytical mindset, capable of assessing customer needs, qualifying leads, and proposing tailored solutions.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- IT literate, with experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
- Prior experience in the legal information market or selling information services is beneficial but not essential.
