Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced Biostatistics - HPC Solution Architect to be based in their client's office in Stevenage (Preferred) or London, UK. This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Stevenage or London office 2 days per week. This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start ASAP. Day rate: Competitive Market rate.
The right candidate should have a strong understanding of HPC (Slurm) including the installation and configuration.
Key Requirements:- Strong understanding of Infrastructure (Azure, On-premises and other cloud techs)
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms: Understanding of cloud platforms and Azure, in particular
- R language: The candidate should have a good understanding of R
- HPC Skills: The candidate should have a strong understanding of HPC (Slurm) including the installation and configuration
- Experience with Python: The candidate should have experience with the Python installation and configuration on Linux system
- Associates should have deep understanding of Biostatistics and Life science domain (especially Clinical) knowledge
- Basic understanding of SAS
- Contribute to design/build and support various Business specific solutions and strong understanding of various architectural levels
- Problem-solving skills: The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex technical issues
- Communication skills: The candidate should have strong communication skills, as they will need to communicate with various stakeholders, including developers, system administrators, and end users
- Building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions.
