Property Legal Counsel (Commercial Property transactions) Perm Theale | Hybrid You must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for Sponsorship We're looking for a Property Counsel with commercial property and Electronic Communications Code (ECC) experience to join a collaborative Legal & Compliance team supporting a high-volume estates and telecoms infrastructure programme.

The Role

You'll manage a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion, providing end-to-end legal support across leases, Code Agreements, licences, and freehold acquisitions.

Working closely with Estates teams, external solicitors, and internal stakeholders, you'll help deliver transactions efficiently while maintaining high legal and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.

Draft and negotiate Code Agreements, leases, licences, and related property documents.

Support telecoms infrastructure projects under the Electronic Communications Code (2017).

Handle freehold acquisitions, due diligence, and post-completion work.

Maintain accurate case records and provide regular stakeholder updates.

Collaborate with Legal & Compliance colleagues to improve processes and support wider team initiatives.

About You

Qualified solicitor - England and Wales Qualified 2-3 years' PQE in commercial property, including landlord & tenant matters and freehold acquisitions.

Experience working with the Electronic Communications Code (2017).

Strong commercial property conveyancing knowledge.

Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage a busy caseload.

Desirable: In-house legal experience and exposure to property litigation.
