Our Legal, Governance and Operational Excellence Directorate provides legal and operational support across the organisation, helping deliver key strategic and operational outcomes for our shareholders.
The Role: We are seeking a motivated Paralegal to join our Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced in-house environment, supporting a wide range of commercial property legal matters. You will work closely with legal colleagues and the wider business to support the delivery of critical legal and operational activities.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting site-related legal matters including renewals, notices to quit, access disputes and enforcement actions.
- Conducting legal research, title checks and data analysis.
- Supporting disclosure exercises and document collation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reviewing legal billing schedules against SLAs.
- Coordinating execution of engrossed agreements.
- Maintaining systems, databases and reporting tools.
- Supporting templates, training materials and process improvements.
What we are looking for:
- LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
- Basic understanding of commercial property law (including leases vs licences).
- Strong research, analytical and IT skills (MS Office).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work at pace and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
- Desirable: Previous paralegal or property law experience.
- Exposure to portfolio or asset management environments.
