We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Business Change to lead enterprise-wide transformation and delivery. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring all technology and business change initiatives are delivered effectively—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a mature, high-performing delivery function spanning PMO, Project Delivery, Business Analysis, Testing, and Continuous Improvement, enabling large-scale transformation and supporting long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Delivery
    • Lead the end-to-end change delivery lifecycle across a complex, multi-project portfolio
    • Own and deliver a prioritised change roadmap aligned to strategic and investment objectives
    • Ensure successful delivery of all change initiatives through to benefits realisation
    • Drive consistent application of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Governance & Performance
    • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, including stage gates, reporting, and risk management
    • Oversee portfolio prioritisation, dependency management, and capacity planning
    • Ensure strong financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting, and benefits tracking
  • Team & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across PMO, Business Analysis, Testing, and Continuous Improvement
    • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, technology leaders, and external partners
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and delivery excellence
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure high-quality business analysis, requirements definition, and traceability
    • Oversee comprehensive testing strategies and go-live readiness
    • Continuously enhance delivery capability, processes, and operational workflows

About You

You are a strategic leader with deep expertise in change delivery and a proven ability to lead complex transformation programmes.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Leadership experience in PMO, Change, or Delivery roles (e.g. Head of PMO / Head of Change)
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-project portfolios
  • Strong expertise in PMO governance, portfolio management, and delivery frameworks
  • Experience across Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Deep knowledge of business analysis, requirements engineering, and process mapping
  • Strong understanding of testing strategies, UAT, and release readiness
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, benefits realisation)
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams

Desirable:

  • Experience in infrastructure, telecoms, or asset-intensive environments
  • Background in large-scale transformation programmes
